People today spend a lot of time looking at screens. This increased screen time can lead to a range of symptoms, such as headaches, dry eyes, eye fatigue, light sensitivity, neck and shoulder pain, and motion sickness. While stress can often cause these symptoms, another underlying cause is binocular vision dysfunction (BVD) or eye misalignment.

When our eyes work well together, we see one clear image. However, when the eyes are misaligned, the brain has to work harder to create a single image, leading to discomfort. At Omaha Primary EyeCare, we provide Neurolens as an effective treatment option for BVD. Only a Neurolens specialist practice can prescribe these specialized lenses.

What is Neurolens?

Neurolenses are specially designed lenses that feature a contoured prism to correct misalignment and restore comfortable vision. Over 93% of patients have responded positively to Neurolenses.¹ These lenses fix misalignment at various distances, relieving uncomfortable symptoms such as headaches, migraines, and neck pain. By reducing eye strain, Neurolenses help you relax and improve your posture, easing discomfort.

How are Neurolenses prescribed?

At Omaha Primary EyeCare, we’ll perform a quick Neurolens measurement test during your eye exam. We’re proud to use the latest in Neurolens’ measurement technology—the N3 VR-based binocular measurement device. This immersive test educates you while measuring any signs of misalignment. The N3 is fast, accurate, and reliable, measuring misalignment down to a fraction of a prism diopter. Following the test, we’ll review the results with you and prescribe your new Neurolenses.

Neurolenses can be customized for every patient. They’re available with or without a prescription and in any type of frame. Even if you don’t need vision correction, Neurolenses will still relieve any painful eye misalignment symptoms you may have.
